Maternity and Newborn Session

My friend, who is actually my boss at Portrait Innovations, let me take her maternity pictures and newborn pictures of her brand new son.  It was a great experience because I was able to use my own ideas and props to kind of add on to the ideas that I learned at P.I. 

The maternity session was done at the Greensburg Pitt Campus, which was a beautiful setting, but we got kicked out at the end because we didn't have the proper permission to be taking pictures there.  So just a heads up, if you're going to do a photo shoot there, contact them before hand to get permission. :)



The newborn shoot was done at Jenn's house.  We took some shots outside and inside. I like to tell her that she got a 25 pose collection because that's how it works at P.I.  Here are a couple of my absolute favorites.   The one with the dog was kind of a last minute idea and didn't really work how we wanted it to but it's still cute and is similar to how I do my candids at weddings.
