Round Hill Park with Aurora

Today my mom, sister and I took my niece, Aurora, to Round Hill Park and Farm for a photo shoot/ hanging out with the farm animals.  So  my goal for the photo shoot part was to use one lens, no flash or other fancy equipment and only pay attention to backgrounds and lighting.  Now, with lighting there was some worry because there was (as mom and I like to call it) some hard sun today.  This means it was a sunny day with few clouds.  Harsh sunlight is not ideal for pictures.  However, I believe the shoot and day overall was a success because we got some really awesome pictures of my niece, maybe even the best of my career so far.  I believe I really am getting somewhere here.  It helps that my niece is super adorable and photogenic. :)
